    HELLO! I'm MarQUITA

You have a gift to share with the world and my job is to help you get it out there.

Should I practice with a mic or not?

Practice with a mic and practice acoustically. Both have benefits you can use as a singer.

When you sing in a room with just your sound and not being amplified, you start building more strength. It causes you to project your voice. Your awareness of your muscles is heightened. You have to learn how to measure how far and how much your muscle can give you without being amplified or helped with reverb or other sound enhancements.

With a mic you can sing low and not push. You can express yourself without worrying about your voice projecting because the mic is doing that.

Both are important and have their advantages.
    Lots a love,
    Marquita
